How It Works

For Equipment Owners

Surefire Hire provides a conduit to hire out your unused tools and equipment through a safe rental process when it suits you. You choose what equipment to list, when you want to make it available and who you want to hire it to.
Your equipment is listed on the Surefire Hire website and is available for renters to search, select the tool, choose their preferred hired dates and place a request to hire the equipment. It is entirely up to you when you want to make your equipment available.
If you need to use the piece of equipment yourself, simply make it unavailable for those dates and reinstate its availability once you have finished using it.
Just take a photo and upload it to the Surefire Hire site (If it is an electrical tool with a lead, a photo of test and tag is required), set a daily hire rate, weekly rental price and a security bond if required, provide the location of the tool to make it easy for renters to search their local areas and you’re ready to start making money.

For Equipment Renters

Simply visit the Surefire Hire website, search the tools to find the piece of equipment you need in your local area then submit a hire request.
You will have to pay a bond if it is requested by the Hirer – which is fully refundable upon return on undamaged equipment – to secure your rental (Coming Soon – Membership Feature).
The owner of the tool will review your request and accept your rental. Arrangements will then be made to meet and collect your tool of choice.
Payment details will be collected at the time you submit a request to hire the equipment and you will be automatically charged the full hire amount and possible bond/security once your request to hire has been accepted by the Owner.
